In the U.S., around 10,000 people experience an upper limb amputation annually, limiting mobility and taking away the ability to perform simple day-to-day actions. Studies have shown therapeutic costs related to upper limb prosthesis rehabilitation to reach $29,961. See how we intend to fix this.

Restore your strength

At every stage of the rehabilitative process for every type of upper-limb prosthetic, Aeonia’s patient-centered programs train a variety of movements that can strengthen and increase the precision of patient movements.

Enjoy daily activities

Most day-to-day actions, like pouring drinks, tying shoes, and writing are covered in Aeonia’s programs according to patient needs, empowering them to make a return to an independent, unassisted lifestyle.

See your progress

Comprehensive tracking of progress is available to all patients, with occasional check-ins to evaluate Aeonia’s effectiveness and fine tune therapy. Goals and milestones are tracked to promote engagement and consistency.

Aeonia is a company built on the latest neuroscience research.

What is action-observation therapy?

Action-observation (AO) is a therapeutic protocol that enhances rehabilitation of motor control through the observation of common, daily actions, followed by their repetition by the patient.

Repeated imitation and training of these actions improves rehabilitation for a number of conditions and diseases. Results generated by AO therapy are thought to originate from the activity of brain regions during AO that are also active during the execution of the observed task.

What is a digital therapeutic?

Digital therapeutics (DTx) are software applications that treat various diseases and conditions. Similar to traditional drugs or medical devices, DTx applications must go through clinical trials and thorough regulation. DTx allow patients to enjoy personalized, 100% at-home medical treatment.
